We highly recommend you get the holster expansion ("Let Me Holster That for You" quest taken from Kriv, in Gangos).
Pieces of Garlean Synthetic fabric can be bought on the Marketboard at a low price.
Some holsters are designed for 99 weight. If you do not have this capacity, remove Resistance Reraisers until everything else fits.

HOLSTER

"Trapper tank" or "Regular tank"?

There are two roles for tanks: trapper and regular tank, based on the party you join. Nonetheless, be ready for both roles and all scenarios!

* Note: Instead of using a Resistance Medikit, you can also buy or craft Antidotes to deal with poison traps!
(It is a regular item- It needs to be in your normal inventory)

1. What does "Pre-pop" mean?

It is what you need to use ("pop" / slot) before engaging in the raid (before you use a pad to jump down and trigger the first encounter):

- Your Pure Essence and Reraiser should be used immediately.
- Your Lost Actions should be ready for use, as pictured with "Setup".
- Your Holster should then be prepared / loaded.

2. What does "Holster" mean?

It is what you will have in your holster for the rest of the raid.
Remember: Once you use the pad, you can no longer return to the cache. Your holster is final for the whole raid.

⚠️ Tip: Use sets to make your life easier. Save 2 Sets: 1 "Pre-Pop" & 1 "Holster", per role.

Details

HOLSTER

"Heal 1" or "Heal 2"?

There are two roles for healers: heal 1 and heal 2. Your Party Leader may assign them to you and your co-healer, or may let you discuss with your co-healer which one you want. Nonetheless, be ready for both roles and all scenarios!
⚠️ Note: Heal 2 has two different holsters based on the party they are in.

1. What does "Pre-pop" mean?

It is what you need to use ("pop" / slot) before engaging in the raid (before you use a pad to jump down and trigger the first encounter):

- Your Pure Essence and Reraiser should be used immediately.
- Your Lost Actions should be ready for use, as pictured with "Setup".
- Your Holster should then be prepared / loaded.

2. What does "Holster" mean?

It is what you will have in your holster for the rest of the raid.
Remember: Once you use the pad, you can no longer return to the cache. Your holster is final for the whole raid.

⚠️ Tip: Use sets to make your life easier. Save 2 Sets: 1 "Pre-Pop" & 1 "Holster", per role.

- Raised targets get "Transcendent" and "Back from the Brink" effects, allowing them to move out of death walls safely

"Melee" or "Rend"? "FLEX"?

There are two roles for melees: melee and rend, based on the party you join. For FLEX: when there are 2 melees in your party, your Party Leader may assign you the FLEX role. Else (only 1 melee in your party), you are a designated melee (ACEF party) or rend (BD party). Nonetheless, be ready for both roles and all scenarios!

Note: As a rend melee, you can pair either Lost Font of Power or Banner of Honored Sacrifice with Lost Rend Armor, both are fine and it is up to your own preference. But only take one of them, not both!

There are two roles for ranged: dervish and FLEX. For FLEX: when there are 2 ranged in your party, your Party Leader may assign you the FLEX role. Else (only 1 ranged in your party), you are a designated Dervish. Nonetheless, be ready for both roles and all scenarios!

Note: As a FLEX ranged, you can also take Lost Dervish to be a second Dervish: once the first Dervish wears off, use yours to give your party 100% Dervish uptime.

° CASTER °

"Cure IV" or "Flare Star"? "FLEX"?

There are two roles for caster: Cure IV and Flare Star. There is 1 Black Mage in Party A covering Flare Star for the raid. For FLEX: when there are 2 caster in your party, your Party Leader may assign you the FLEX role. Else (only 1 caster in your party), you are a designated Cure IV. Nonetheless, be ready for both roles and all scenarios!
⚠️ Note: If you do not intend to play Black Mage in DRS, you can ignore the Flare Star role setup.

Note: As a Cure IV caster, you can use Chainspell instead of Font of Magic if you're struggling with your Magic Points (MPs) management. However, keep in mind that Font of Magic is better than Chainspell optimization wise.

1. What does "Pre-pop" mean?

It is what you need to use ("pop" / slot) before engaging in the raid (before you use a pad to jump down and trigger the first encounter):

- Your Pure Essence and Reraiser should be used immediately.
- Your Lost Actions should be ready for use, as pictured with "Setup".
- Your Holster should then be prepared / loaded.

2. What does "Holster" mean?

It is what you will have in your holster for the rest of the raid.
Remember: Once you use the pad, you can no longer return to the cache. Your holster is final for the whole raid.

⚠️ Tip: Use sets to make your life easier. Save 2 Sets: 1 "Pre-Pop" & 1 "Holster", per role.

Lost Font of Magic

Details

- Damage dealt +70%, but drains your Mana Points. Wears off if Mana Points hit 0
- Use every 120 secs during burst window phase, with an auto-ether active
Cooldown: 120 secs - Duration: 30 secs

Lost Chainspell

Details

- Damage dealt +45% / Spells are now instant but cost more Magic Points
- Use every 120 secs, during burst window phase (always paired with Lost Font of Magic)
Cooldown: 90 secs - Duration: 30 secs

Lost Cure IV

Details

- Heals target + party members nearby, and applies Lost Bravery to healed targets
- Lost Bravery: Increases damage dealt by 10% (⚠️ requires Pure Essence of the Elder)
Cooldown: 5 secs (OGCD) - Duration: 60 secs (bravery buff, keep bravery up at all times)

Resistance Reraiser

Details

- On use, applies "Reraise" buff to self. ⚠️ Must always be active
- Reraise: Grants a 70% chance of automatic revival upon K.O.
Cooldown: OGCD - Duration: until death

Resistance Ether Kit

Details

- On use, applies "Auto-ether" buff to self
- Auto-ether: Recovers Mana Points if they fall under 2 000. 50% chances upon recovery to wear off

Light Curtain

Details

- On use, applies "Lost Reflect" buff to self
- Lost Reflect: Reflects most magical attacks
Cooldown: GCD - Duration: 10 secs

The Queen

Pure Essence of the Elder

Details

- Defense +25% / Damage dealt +50% / Health +100%
- Lost Cure IV now applies Lost Bravery to nearby party members & self
Duration: Entire instance (persists through death)
